We went on a one-day trip to Tamsui last Friday.
Tamsui is a town of the capital ─ Taipei. There's an important river called "Tamsui River" runs by the town. Tamsui has a convenient river transport and that superiority makes Tamsui become an prosperous town. Because it is by the river, Tamsui is famous for its seafood. Such as "fish ball" and "fish chip" are both popular dishes there. Also, the ice cream there is popular. The ice cream there is very tall, it is about thirty centimeters tall!! The most popular and famous dish is "A-ghei". "A-ghei" is made with fried tofu with noodles that are transparent in it. Tamsui is also famous for its historical sites. Beacause Tamsui has been a colony by Holland and Japan in the past, there's lots of historical sites in Tamsui.
We visited those famous historical sites in the morning.
Then we had lunch on the "Tamsui old street". Tamsui old street is the most popular place that is full of visitors. It was my first time to eat "A-ghei". Mmmm~ it was delicious and special!! After lunch, we spent whole time shopping in the afternoon. The shops there were so cute and different with others. The things in the shop are so special and delicate that we spent much time in every shop.
The trip ended at 16 o'clock. It was really a great and exciting trip. I would come to Tamsui again!! There's still many interesting place I haven't been to.

Well.. I know I'm not good at writing trevel notes to introduce interesting places I've been to.
But.. Tamsui is exactly a exciting and beautiful place to visit.. trust me!!
